Any use that you make of the services provided by this site is conditioned to the acceptance of the following Code of Ethics. e-Mexico reserves the right to suspend or refuse admittance to any person for inappropriate Internet behavior or for violating the Code of Ethics. 

  1. LANGUAGE USE.- When using the forums, chat rooms and sending in suggestions, requests or comments, or when publishing material it is strictly forbidden to use foul or offensive language, blasphemy or cursing, hate language, or threats of violence that may jeopardize or offend the moral sensitivity of public or private individuals and  institutions.
  1. DISCRIMINATORY MATERIALS (RACE, GENDER, RELIGION, IDEOLOGY).- It is strictly forbidden to upload discriminatory content with the intention of attacking individuals or racial or religious groups, or sexual minorities, or by reason of their gender or ideology. It is also forbidden to upload defamatory or slanderous materials or threats or extortion.  It is worth pointing out that any content violating the above provision shall be deleted and the person responsible for this shall be denied access and if warranted, the information shall be turned over to the appropriate law enforcing agents.
  1. OBSCENE AND ILLEGAL MATERIALS.- It is strictly forbidden to publish materials that are against the law or violate the customs of decency or any materials that are offensive to modesty propriety and morals, or those presenting biased, pornographic, racist, fundamentalist in formation or  which  affects public, ethical and moral order.   It is worth pointing out that any content violating the above provision shall be deleted and the person responsible for this shall be denied access and if warranted, the information shall be turned over to the appropriate law enforcing agents.
  1. BENEFIT OF COMMUNITIES.- It is forbidden to publish materials which in any way may violate the values of the community  or conditions for use, as said content is supposed to focus on benefiting the appropriate community. e-Mexico reserves the right to suspend or refuse admittance to members..
  1. COOPERATION, PARTICIPATION OR LEARNING.- The contents of the portal shall be informative and useful to the community to which they area addressed. Participation, cooperation and feedback among the members of the communities should be encouraged.
  1. TRANSPARENCY.- The members of each community shall act in a transparent manner concerning the procedures  involved for the community to function properly as to decision-making, and voting, issues that are of interest to the community, as well as in electing the leader of their community.    
  1. COPYRIGHTS.- It is forbidden to publish material that is copyrighted, i.e. texts, images, graphics, commercial artwork, , emblems, slogans, badges, logotypes and any copyrighted materials with reserved rights, without the explicit written permission of the owner of such rights, and it is also forbidden to copy pictures, sounds, and /or proprietary software belonging to the portal without the consent of e-Mexico. In the event that any user should violate this prohibition, he or she will be denied further access and shall be turned over to the appropriate law enforcing agents.
  1. LEGAL FRAMEWORK.- The user shall comply with all national and international laws, rules,  and regulations, ordinances and bylaws applicable to the use of the e-Mexico portal and the use and transfer of information within said portal.  
  1. NOT HACKING THE PORTAL.- It is strictly prohibited to publish or share in the portal any information intentionally containing viruses or other programming tools that may damage or hinder or expropriate  systems,  data or personal information. Any materials violating the above provision shall be deleted and the person responsible for this shall be denied further access.
  1. HONESTY.- The purpose of the portal is to promote open and honest communication among all of its members, who should be respected as individuals  with the purpose of achieving a warm, harmonious and respectful environment.  Any verbal or written abuse or harassment towards other users or the staff of e-Mexico shall result in the cancellation of all e-Mexico services for the community as a group and its leaders.
